Phyllis L. Scott, 65, of Minburn, died of cancer Saturday, February 23, 2002 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Phyllis Scott was born in Yale and had lived in Minburn most of her life. She had worked as a salesclerk at Spurgeon's in Perry. She was a member of Minburn United Methodist Church in Minburn.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin; her mother, Gladys Hagenstein of Perry; a brother, Bernard Wernli of Sterling, Illinois; and two sisters, Roberta Scott of Minburn and Carol Jean Meier of Nevada.
