They had two children, both buried with their mother: A daughter who died in infancy on 25 December 1867; and Edworth Ham Abbott, born 7 June 1875, and died 18 January 1878. Gilbert Potter Abbott was the son of Simeon & Abigail (Hardy) Abbott; born 8 January 1843, in Stow; died 24 February 1908, in South Paris, ME; buried with second wife at Riverside Cemetery, South Paris; married (2nd), 10 October 1880, Fannie Emma Bowker, 1862-1941.
