I believe this is Letitia Welty Adkins. She married Curtice ( Kirt ) Adkins in 1898 in Stoddard Co. Mo. Kirt was living with Letitia's aunt, Paralee Higginbotham and listed as widowed in the 1910 census. Letitia died in Aug.1914 & Kirt remarried 2 Dec. 1914. I can not find another Letitia Adkins in any census around 1910. Kirt & Letitia had three children. Ransom b.1900 d. 1945, buried in Qulin cem., FAG #68887784 Norma b. 1902, d. 2008, buried in Qulin cem.FAG # 33288910, Lillie b. 1904 death unknown. I believe Lititia had a set of twins at the Farmington Hospital.
Jaybird.

About 2008 a descendent of Kirt's brother Ike contacted me and told me that Letitia had attacked Kirt with a knife and he had her committed. At the time I had nothing to confirm that.

A couple of days ago a lady named Judie contacted me and filled me in about the spelling of the name. Thanks to Judie I now have a copy of the 1910 census and know what happened to Letitia. It has been almost 100 years since Letitia died and it is a shame that this remained a secret for so long.
