ELIZABETH BOURNE is my double ancestor. She married two of my ancestors.
She was the daughter of JOHN AND FRANCES BOURNE, and was baptized on Sept. 23,1627 at Lapley, Staffordshire,, England.

She married first JOHN WELLES in 1647 at Stratford. She was the mother of six Welles children in 12 years: Capt. John Welles, Deacon Thomas Welles, Capt. Robert Welles, Temperence Welles, Sgt. Samuel Welles, and my ancestor SARAH (WELLES) THOMPSON.

On March 19, 1663, she married my ancestor, JOHN WILCOXSON at Killingworth, Colony of Conn. They were the parents of Patience (Wilcoxson) Blakeman, Hannah (Wilcoxson) Booth, ELIZABETH (WILCOXSON) BEERS -- my ancestor, and Mary Wilcoxson.
