Louis Benson, 5109 West North Avenue, driver of the truck said he applied the breaks at once but could not avoid hitting the girl. At the intersection of Bryn Mawr and Pulaski is St. Luke Cemetery where she is buried. Beatrice is buried in the same cemetery as Reinhold and Angeline Centner. The funeral was held at her parent's home at 5014 N. Karlov Ave., Chicago, IL, which is 2 blocks south of St. Luke Cemetery.
