KIRBY, Betty W., 80, of Plant City, Fla., departed this life July 27, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jack "Jerry" Kirby; son, Jack Kirby II, and daughter-in-law, Kathy; granddaughter, Jacki; brother, John Wellons; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Laurence Wellons. A visitation will begin at 9 am Friday, July 31, at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 County Road 39 S., Plant City, 33567.
