Mrs. Rozella Baity, aged nearly 84 years, widow of the late Edson Baity, died at the home of her son, Daniel Baity, in Frost Settlement, April 3. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Welch, early settlers in the vicinity of Welch Hollow, and has passed her entire in the locality. In 1858 she was married to Edson Baity, who died 34 years ago. Mrs. Baity was a member of the Baptist church. She leaves the following children: Mrs. Wallace Dewey, of Mainesburg; Mrs. Orlando Watkins, of Canoe Camp; Mrs. Daisy Robbins, of Rochester; Mrs. Mahlon Wilcox, of Mansfield; Daniel Baity, of Frost Settlement; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Gilbert Welch; three sisters, Mrs. Martin Mudge, Mrs. Jane Watson, Mrs. Lydia Hendricks.
