She was born in West Reading to the late Floyd and Helen (Focht) Weitzel and was the wife of Nelson P. Freeman.
Carol was a member of the St. Paul's UCC Church, Bowmansville. She retired from the Elanco School District, where she worked for many years in the cafeteria. Carol enjoyed playing cards and games with friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Dale, husband of Cheri (Good) Freeman of Akron; a daughter, Marcy Witman of Denver; 3 grandchildren, Zachary Witman, Kaile and Cole Freeman; a great grandson, Blake Witman and a brother, Ronald Weitzel of Muhlenberg Township.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
