Just before going to press the news was received at this office by courtesy of the Enterprise Telephone Company of the death of Mrs. Ezra Burkholder of Farmersville, which occurred shortly after two o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Burkholder was operated upon on Tuesday by Drs. Atlee and Walters for the removal of a tumor from which she was a patient sufferer for a long time. The operation was a successful one but the patient, though seeming to bear it well, was obliged to succumb to its effects. The funeral will be held from her late home on Christmas morning at 9:30 and at 10:30 o'clock at Groffdale where the services will be held and interment made.
