Funeral services for Beulah Mosier were Saturday afternoon at the Christ Lutheran Church, Davenport. She died Tuesday, Jan. 6, at the age of 86 years, 1 month and 26 days.
Beulah Omega Wehrly was born Nov. 11, 1894, in Thayer
County near Davenport, the youngest child of George M. and
Mary Etta Sumstine Wehrly.
She attended rural school.
Dec. 3,1913, she was married to Arthur T. Mosier. They lived
on and operated a farm south of Davenport in Nuckolls County
until moving to a home in northeast Davenport on Feb. 15,
1951. After his death in 1964 she moved to the home where she resided alone until stricken with her final illness which resulted in her death Jan. 6.
She and her husband were received through baptism into
membership in Christ's Lutheran Church, Davenport, in
1928, along with their children, Lester and Blanche.
Mr. and Mrs. Mosier were faithful members, attending services as long as health permitted.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Maurice Miller (Blanche),
Kearney; Margaret Mosier, wife of Lester, who died Aug. 13,
1978; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pastor James Sassman officiated at the services and
burial was in the Davenport Cemetery. The Urbauer
Funeral Home, Davenport, was in charge of arrangements.
