Jessie S. Weems, 94, Town Creek, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Old Bethel Cemetery, Courtland, Ala. The Rev. Tommy Akin will officiate.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
She was a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Weems; and parents, James Buchannon Terry and Anna Terry.
She is survived by sons, Gerald Weems, Decatur, Ala., James K. Weems Sr., Muscle Shoals, Ala.; sister, Christine Brown, Birmingham; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
