Mrs. John Borland died unexpectedly at her home at 1215 Beltrami avenue on April 16. Funeral services will be held at the First Lutheran church.
Laura Weekly was born in Minneapolis Jan 28, 1900 to parents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weekly. She received her education there and her marriage to Mr. Borland took place there in 1938. She had lived in Bemidji the past 23 years. Mrs. Borland was employed by Frances Allen Flower Shop for a period of years, was an active member of the First Lutheran Ladies Aid and Circles and the Bemidji Hospital Auxiliary.
