Funeral services will be held Saturday for Eva Carola Weed, member of a pioneer Sonoma family, who passed away yesterday at a Sonoma rest home at 91 years of age.
A native of San Francisco, Mrs. Weed was the last surviving member of the Gundlach family, noted pioneer viticulturalists of the Gundlach - Dresel Winery in early Sonoma history.
She was the widow of the late Benjamin Weed, former Sonoma Valley High School teacher and prominent citizen who was one of the originators of the Vintage Festival.
Mrs. Weed had lived in the Hacienda Rest Home in Sonoma for the past eight years before her death.
