Mildred L. "Millie" Weddle, 90 of Brandon, FL, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011.
Millie lived all her life in Valparaiso, IN before moving to Florida in 1990. While in Valparaiso, she was a member of the First Christian Church, retired from Northern Indiana Bank and enjoyed golfing and dancing. She and her husband, Craig, were very active members of the Banta Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Alvin E. Beach, Sr. and Lottie E. Beach; two brothers: Robert E. Beach and Alvin E. Beach, Jr.; and her two husbands: Robert G. Brindle and E. Craig Weddle.
She is survived by her son, Richard G. Brindle of Thornton, CO; three daughters: Mary Stark of Valrico, FL, Liane Wong of Greenwood, IN and Denise "Deni" Jacks of Danville, IN; two brothers: Charles E. Beach and John A. Beach, both of Valparaiso, IN; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Graceland Cemetery, 1505 E. Morthland Drive, Valparaiso.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Andrew's United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 3315 Bryan Road, Brandon, FL 33511.
