Artamincy married James Weddle about 1873 in Virginia. The 1910 Census (Indiana) indicated she had 15 children of whom 12 were living. All of them were born in Virginia and three were still living with them. In 1880, they were living in Laurel Fork, Carroll County, Virginia.
In 1900, the couple was still in Laurel Fork. The family was listed in the census as: Weddle, James C, head, born Mch 1852, age 48, married 24 years, farmer; Artamusseh (should be Artamincy), wife, born Nov 1854, age 45, married 24 years; Mary M, daughter, born June 1883, age 16; Dora V, daughter, born Feb 1885, age 15; Normie E, daughter, Ap 1887, age 13; Belle P, daughter, born Aug 1888, age 11; Nancy L, daughter, born Apr 1890, age 10, Lula J, daughter, born June 1891, age 8; Lily E, daughter, born Aug 1894, age 5; and Robert E, son, born June 1899, age 1.
By 1910, she and James had moved to Indiana and were living in Center Township, Hendricks County, Indiana. Living with her and James were their children, Lily, Robert, and Dora, and son-in-law George Smith who was married to Dora, and granddaughter, Marion Smith, age 4.
In the 1860 census for Laurel Fork, Carroll County, Virginia, Artimincy is listed on page 76. The listing for her family who were all born in Virginia, reads: Huel Shepherd, age 38, male, farmer; Leona, age 36, female; John, age 14, male; James, age 13, male; Henderson, age 11, male; Caleb, age 9, male; Artamincy, age 5, female; Mary, age 4, female; Robert, age 3, male; Franklin, age 1, male; and Louisa Tobler, age 17, female, cook.
