Millicent is the daughter of Elias Weddle, Sr., Nancy Wallen's first husband. Elias was killed at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend in Tohopeka, AL in the Indian War of 1812. He is buried in the Ft Williams Military Cemetery in Fayetteville/Sylacuaga, Taladega Co., AL.

Per a note from Linda: Armilda Millicent Weddle was name for her grandmother Millicent Jones Wallen, wife of Joseph Wallen.
