Frances Jean Webber Peters, 63, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2006 in Lewis Gale Medical Center after a courageous battle with Kidney Disease and all its complications. She was born February 8, 1942 in Bedford County. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Webber Goad and a sister Dorothy Dean Goad. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband of 28 years, Graydon Peters of Roanoke; son, David Wayne Peters and his wife, Karen of Roanoke; two grandsons Wayne and Benjamin Peters both of Roanoke; sister Caroline Marie Goad of Blue Ridge; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Nadine and Ed Stump of Daleville; Diane Pickeral of Roanoke; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lotz Vinton Chapel with the Rev. John Dooley officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Special THANKS to the staff of Lewis Gale Medical Center, Dr. J. Milton Miller, Dr. Clifford Culpeper, staff of North Roanoke Dialysis Center and Friendship Manor for all their special care and concern.
