A native of Clayton, GA, Ms. Cobb was the daughter of Nancy Ella Swafford Webb of Clayton, GA and the late Edmund Pike Webb. She was a seamstress for Jantzen and of the Church of God faith.
In addition to her mother, Ms. Cobb is survived by sons, Kenneth Nicholson of Easley, SC and Joel Simpson of Clemson; daughter, Brenda N. Dailey of Walhalla; brothers, Jim (Shirley) Webb, Harold (Jeanette) Webb, Ricky (Emily) Webb and Danny Webb, all of Clayton, GA; Roger (Patsy) Webb and Doug (Barbara) Webb, both of Long Creek, SC; sisters, Dorothy Bleckley and Teresa (Terry) Singleton, both of Clayton, GA, Barbara (Phil) Harris of Long Creek, SC and Vicky (Sonny) Hamel of Clarksville, GA; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by first husband, Dwight Nicholson; son-in-law, Kenneth Dailey; and two infant sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2009 from Mountain Grove Baptist Church, Long Creek, SC.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
A special thanks to grandson, Nathan Dailey for his care, understanding and love.
The family is at their respective homes.
