Charles "Chip" Franklin Webb IV, 28, Joplin, MO, died at 8:08 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 1999, at the scene of a car accident. Mr. Webb was born December 15, 1970 in Baltimore, MA. He has lived in Joplin for six months after moving here from Colorado. He was a roofing contractor. He married Melissa Radley on May 8, 1992, in Joplin. She survives. Additional survivors include two children; one daughter, Taylor Shay Webb, and one son, Austin Charles Webb, both of the home. His mother, Diane Lapole, Spartinburg, SC, his grandmother, Velma Webb, Webb City, MO; two brothers, Timmy Webb and Jimmy Lapole, both of Spartin-Durg, SC; two sisters, Tina Alum-baugh, Webb City, MO, and Stephanie Lapole, Spartinburg, SC. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Minister Michael Linthi-cum will officiate. Burial will be at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
