Barbara Jean Baker of Bedford, IN, died Friday, June, 28, 2002, at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born on March 26, 1930, in Oolitic, IN, she was the daughter of Hobart and Pearl (Baker) Webb. She married Gene F. Baker on May 29, 1954, and he survives.

Surviving with her husband are two sons, Steve Aronson and William Gene Baker, both of Bedford, IN; four daughters: Vicky Lynn Beedie, Janet Carter, and Linda Kay Breedlove, all of Bedford, IN, and Sandra S. Butler of Orleans, IN; one brother, Gordon Baker Webb of Bedford, IN; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: William Kenneth Webb, James Frederick Webb, and one brother in infancy; one sisters, Marjorie Jewell Warner; two grandchildren, Ted Beedie and Annette Brewer; and one great-grandchild, James Godsey.

She retired from GM Powertrain and was a member of Dive Christian Church.

Services for Barbara Baker will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 1st at the Day & Carter Mortuary with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Dive Cemetery.
