Betty J. Greene, 74, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Monday, October 25, 2010. She was born January 3, 1936 in Danville, Kentucky to Alvin Emmett and Laura Eloise Dexter Webb. Mrs. Greene was a homemaker, a member of Calallen Baptist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Ayn Zissa.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dunham Garrett Greene of Corpus Christi, Texas; her daughters, Laura (Clark) Slacum of Orange, Texas and Robin (Rick) Ford of Corpus Christi, Texas; a son-in-law, Don Zissa of Houston, Texas; her brother, James (Dianne) Webb of Astor, Florida; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild.

Visitation with the family present will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:45 A.M. Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas with Brother Jack Willoughby officiating. Burial will follow.
