Elsie "Dude" V. Webb Obituary

Elsie V. Webb 89, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away September 4, 2009 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. Elsie was born to Tom and Annie (Gauge) Dornan on March 13, 1920 in Hominy, Oklahoma. Elsie and Dale Webb were married September 14, 1940 and Dale preceded her in death August 15, 2006. She was a Homemaker and a life-long Hominy resident.

Elsie is survived by two sons- Gerald (Pokey) Webb and wife Mary and Tony Webb and wife Fran both of Hominy, Oklahoma; one sister- Hazel Edding of Hominy; two granddaughters- Michelle and Mary Katherine Webb of Hominy; two grandsons- Toby Webb and Johnny Webb and wife Hallie of Hominy; two great granddaughters- Annie and Honor and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale, two brothers- Earnie and Clifford Dornan; and two sister- Flora Jean Brown and Nellie Marie Dornan.

Graveside service will be Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Wayne Brown officiating at the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery. Taped music will be "There Will Be Peace in the Valley", "Amazing Grace" and taped solo by Toby Lee Webb- "Just To Prove".

Arrangements were made with Powell Funeral Home.
