HOFFMAN , Geraldine W. On December 9, 2010, Geraldine "Gerry" Marguerite Webb Hoffman of Ellicott City lost her long and courageous battle with her debilitating genetic disease. Prior to succumbing to her disabling disease, Geri was an avid Square and Round Dancer, bridge player, golfer, ballroom dancer to the varied music of the big band era, tennis player, world traveler, shopping aid for her blind friend, and volunteer at Howard County Gen. Hospital, Fort Walton Beach (Fla.) Gen. Hospital, and St. Joseph's Hospital in Ashville, NC. Gerry, the beloved wife of Charles O. "Buck" Hoffman and dedicated mother of Renee M. Cannon, is also the adored step mother of her three step sons and their wives, Mark and Mary Hoffman, Kurt and Trema Hoffman, and Eric and Regina Hoffman, and the cherished grandmother of the apples of her eye, her eleven grandchildren. Geri is also survived by: her brother and sister-in-law, George and Joan Webb of New Castle, DE; her brother, Charles R. "Bobby" Webb of Orlando, FL; five Webb nephews' and a niece's families scattered throughout Delaware, Florida and Georgia; and a sister-in-law, Louise Hoffman of Randallstown, wife of the late George M. "Marty" Hoffman Jr., along with the families of Louise and Marty's daughter and son, Susan and Brian Happle and George M. III and Ellen Hoffman respectively. A niece, Carole Ann Small, daughter of the late Charles and Cedalia "Dale" Small, Charles and Dale's grandchildren, Stacy and Charles Small IV, the children of the late Maria and late Charles S. Small III also survive Gerry. Numerous cousins via the Webb, Gifford and Sine families also survive Geri. Even after about 40 years, she is still watched over, loved and prayed for by the Stamer, Slavinski and Ayling families of PA and CA, the families of the brother, sister, niece and nephews of Geri's first husband, the late Tom Stamer.

WITZKE'S FAMILY FUNERAL HOME INC., 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, 21043 where a memorial Celebration Of Gerry's Life will be held during the evening viewing beginning at 7:30 PM. A short memorial service prior to the internment will also be conducted in the Chapel at the GARRISON FOREST VETERANS CEMETERY, 11501 GARRISON FOREST ROAD, OWINGS MILLS, MD 21117 on Thursday, December 16, 2010, at 1 PM. Those participating in the funeral procession to the cemetery will meet at the Witzke's Funeral Home parking lot on Thursday at NLT noon after obtaining a "Funeral" sticker in the lobby of the funeral home. Others may meet at the cemetery's Chapel at NLT 12:50 PM if they wish.
