Was considered the 'matriarch' of the 'Randolph'
and 'Weaver' family. Born the youngest of 7
in Weaver, KS. Married Jay Randolph in 1916.
Had 2 children, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grand
children at the time of this writing (2000).
Her husband was a Civil Engineer and at one
time owned Liberty Glass Co. Her father was
known in Weaver, Douglas Co., Kansas as the
"One Time Potato King" - a well to do business
man and farmer. The Weaver family were pioneers
and homesteaders of 'Weaver, Kansas'. The
old Weaver Schoolhouse was finally closed when
Helen's mother 'Auttie' Speaks Weaver passed
away in 1948. Helen was also known to her
grandchildren affectionately as 'Mumzie'.
A genuine lady of victorian beauty and stalwart
in her Christian beliefs.
