Funeral services for Betty Weathersbee Owens, 79, of Williston, SC will be held two p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Folk Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service, burial will be in the Williston Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to The Williston Cemetery Fund, P.O Box 367, Williston, SC 29853. Betty died Wednesday, August 19, 2009.

Born in Aiken County, Betty was a daughter of the late Edmond W. Weathersbee and Virgie Cowart Weathersbee Wells. She was a homemaker, married to the late Norman Lee Owens, Sr. and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters, Peggy McKinney, Dena Matthews, Brenda Heath, Alma Bodiford; son, O'Neal Hutto; sisters, Frances Kennedy Gleaton and Judy Phillips; 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
