She was born Sept. 25, 1918 in Carter County, a daughter of the late William and Catherine Bellew Waugh.
She was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Queen; a daughter, Janet Carolyn Queen; four sisters, Alice Alter, Erma Mullins, Eva Mitchell and Thelma Ducharme and four brothers, Clyde Waugh, John Everett Waugh, Charles Waugh and Edgar Waugh.
Survivors include two sons, John P. Queen and his wife, Gail, of Ironton, Ohio, and David Queen and his wife, Sharon, of Westwood; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home with minister Tim Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
