Agatha L. Watt SOUTH ELGIN - Agatha L. Watt, 95, of South Elgin, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin.
She was born June 11, 1913, in Eau Claire, Wis., to Michael and Clara (Pieper) Gilboy. On May 1, 1937, she married Glenn Watt in Eau Claire.
Survivors include her son, the Rev. Gerald Watt, CR, of Johnsburg; her daughters, Sharon (Robert) Scesniak of Chicago, Carol Ann (Howard) Zimmerman of Collinsville, Gloria (Roger) Barr of Orlando, Fla., and Donna Fleming of South Elgin; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Leroy; a daughter, Joyce Lynn; and 11 brothers and sisters.
The visitation will be from 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, until the 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2302 W. Church, Johnsburg, with her son, the Rev. Gerald Watt, CR, officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel in River Grove.
If desired, memorials may be made to the Charity Fund of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, or Masses would be appreciated.
