Arthur Dean Watt, age 63 of Gibson City died at 8:20 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, 1995 at Gibson Community Hospital in Gibson City.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 22 at United Methodist Church in Gibson City with Reverend Patrick W. Cox officiating.
Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 21 at the funeral home and for one hour before the services at the church.
Burial was in Drummer Township Cemetery, Gibson City where military rites were accorded by the Lee Lowry American Legion Post 568.

Mr. Watt was born November 28, 1931 at Lincoln, a son of of Carl Perry and Marie (Lorcher) Watt. He married Jeanne F. (Granger) Eckhoff on July 14, 1951 at Marysville, Kansas. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Jeffery Eckhoff and Allyn Watt, both of Gibson City; one brother Carl Watt of Woodbury, New Jersey; seven grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Mr. Watt was a member of the Lee Lowry American Legion Post 568 in Gibson City, Bloomington 40 and 8 and Gibson City V.F.W.
A U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, he served as a gunner's mate on the U.S.S. Douglas H. Fox DD779.
Mr. Watt retired from Central Soya Plant in Gibson City after 30 years of service. He last worked for CX Roberson Trucking in Farmer City, retiring after 10 years in 1993.
