MADISON - Shirley was born April 10, 1915, in Richland County, to Carl and Bessie (Roberts) Watt. She passed away Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002.
She married Max Baumann on Dec. 20, 1941. Shirley worked at Lakeview TB Sanitarium; many years at Forsberg Paper Box Company and retired from East Tex in 1980.
She has been at Heartland Country Village in Black Earth for 17 years where she had many wonderful nurses, aides and friends. Special friends were Ronnie Hoppe and Ann Lindley. She will be greatly missed but will be at peace.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie (Delbert) Bryant of Arena; four grandchildren, Janis (Jeff) Larsen of Arena, Bill (Kathy) Bryant of Waukesha, Dell (Joan) Bryant of Clintonville, and Lori (Ed Maly) of Middleton; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Richardson of Mazomanie; nephews, Harlan (Bonnie) Buchanan of Madison, Joseph (Karen) Baumann of Madison, and Charleen Buchanan of Cross Plains.
Her parents; husband, Max; brother, Harlan; brother, Donald; infant son, Jordan; great-grandson, Josh Larsen; nephew, Raymond Buchanan; and nephews, Greg and Stanley Watt, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at JOYCE-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 5701 Odana Road, on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at 2 p.m. Burial will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
