Pauline (Watson) Biggs, daughter of Charley A. and Irene Francis (West) Watson was born on March 10, 1919, and departed this life, on May 9, 2008, at the age of eighty-nine, after a long illness and a short stay at Colonial Springs Health Care Center in Buffalo, Missouri. She was united in marriage with Elmer Biggs on March 17, 1937, and of this union six children were born, all of which survive. As a young woman, Pauline was converted and baptized at Emmanuel Chapel Church and was a faithful member for many years. Pauline enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, making and selling crafts. She was an original member of Lebanon's Farmers Market. She is survived by two sons, Harold Biggs and his wife Marietta of Falcon, and Paul Biggs and his wife Joyce of Kansas City; four daughters, Freda Berry and her husband Ivan of Leavenworth, Kansas, Mary Pendergraft of Belton, Janice Taggart and her husband Keith of Lebanon, and Judy Gibson and her husband Don of Richland, fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Helen Watson and Hazel Wicks of Lebanon, Rosalee Phillips of Camdenton; three brothers-in-law, Bill and Lester Biggs of Kansas City and Wayne Biggs of Marshfield; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and dear friends. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer Biggs, on April 14, 1992, a daughter-in-law Avis Biggs, a son-in-law Bill Pendergraft, one sister, Ida Hawkins, and four brothers, Leonard, James "Orie", Bernard and Homer Watson. Pauline was very proud of each of her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, wonderful Mother, caring grandmother, sister and friend. Pauline was loved by all who knew her and she will be deeply missed. Services for Pauline Biggs will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2008 at Shadel's Colonial Chapel with Reverend Bill Jones officiating. Escorts are Darren Biggs, Joseph Taggart, James Berry, Matthew Leach, Jesse Palmer, and Jacob Drake. Honorary escorts are Todd Gibson, Travis Gibson, and Tyler Gibson. Burial will be in the Dotson Cemetery under the direction of Shadel's Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
