Minnie Eloise Watson Campbell, of Greenville, widow of Reverend Frank E. Campbell, entered into Heavenly rest January 15, 2012. She was 96.

Born in Travelers Rest, she was the daughter of the late James Madison and Minnie Lee Shumate Watson.

Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker and served faithfully as a pastor's wife. She organized WMU's and always taught a Sunday School class. She was a member of West Gantt First Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Carole Elaine Campbell Harrison; two grandchildren, Henry Harrison and wife, Beth and Dewitt Harrison; five great grandchildren, Sara, Tyler, Erin, Jessica and Kathryn Harrison; three nieces, Donna Grooms, Rae Rayfield and Salley Preacher; and a nephew, Earl Matthews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Martin; and a brother, Evans Watson.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held, January 18, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
