TISHOMINGO -- Services for Charles Watson, 63, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Corbin Memorial Chapel with Father Joseph Arledge officiating. Interment with military rites will be at Tishomingo Cemetery.
Watson was born Aug. 27, 1936, at Mt. Clemmons, Mich., to Charles L. and Barbara Londrow Watson. He died July 25, 2000, in Tishomingo.
He received his degree from North Central University of Michigan as a certified boat mechanic and small engine repairman. He served in the Army for 18 years, including Vietnam, and was a life-member of DAV. He was a Catholic and had lived in Tishomingo since 1993. He and Geraldine Helen Wojciechowski were married on May 23, 1965, in Michigan.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, David Kazyaka, Oswego, N.Y.; six daughters, Ann Crodner, Lexington, Ky., Stacy Kazyka-Bonar, Seattle, Wash., Cheryl Lane-Smith, Seattle, Wash., Rebecca Burkhart, Tacoma Wash., Teresa Bear, Hesbitt, Miss., and Debra Watson; a brother, Joe, Smith's Creek, Mich.; sister, Barbara Weeks, Gravitt, Ark.; and 15 grandchildren.
Bearers will be Mike and Shawn Bonar, Regan Lane-Smith, Mark Burkhart, David Kazyaka and Mark Bear. Honorary bearers are Gary Cordner and Bill Miller.
