"Ethel Watson rites Wednesday -
Funeral services for Ethel Eugene Watson, 83, West Plains, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, with Evangelist Neale Phipps officiating.
Mrs. Watson died at 10:35 p.m. Sunday in West Vue Home Inc. She was born Oct 9, 1901, in Oregon County, the daughter of the late John and Rachel Vaughn Perkins.
She received her education in the schools of Oregon County, and in 1919 she was married in Oregon County to Samuel Watson, who preceded her in death in February 1963. She was of the Church of God faith.
Survivors include eight children, Allene Hake, St Louis, Louise Fowler, Seattle, Wash., Jean Shedd and Mary Baur, Orlando, Fla., Sam Watson, St. Louis, Martha Jane Lindquist, Philadelphia, Pa., Dorothy Ward, Phoenix, Ariz, and John Watson, West Plains; 24 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, two grandsons, one sister and three brothers.
Burial will be in Koshkonong Cemetery under the direction of Robert-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains."
