|Birth: ||Feb. 14, 1850|
William Marion Watson was the son of James Scales Watson and Martha W. Watson.
In the late 1870s or early 1880s he and his brother, Nicholas "Nix" Scales Watson and their families, along with their widowed father, moved to Arkansas, Nix to Pike County and William to Black Springs in Montgomery County. In the late 1890s, William moved his family to Freestone Co, Texas. Because of his wife's poor health, the family moved to Roby in Fisher County out in West Texas, hoping the drier air would help. Dollie Ann died and is buried there in an unmarked grave.
Upon returned, William remarried Annie Isabella Manahan, whom the children called "Miss Annie".
William ran a cafe and a meat market in Teague in the 1910s.
