Mary Lou Watkins Cart, age 86, of Roswell, Ga, passed away Saturday, June 28th in Marietta, Ga. Mary Lou was born on August 5th, 1927 in New Martinsville, WVa. where she began her family and sales career. Mary Lou was a graduate of Tyler County.H.S. and spent most of her life in Cocoa, Florida and Roswell, GA. She enjoyed her family and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life was contagious with love and laughter. In her later years, she shined as a diva with spirit.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest F. Cart, Jr.; parents, Carl and Gladys Morgan Watkins; brother, Okey Watkins; sister, Kay Watkins Snodgrass.

She is survived by her sister, Linda Watkins Hudson; son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Jean Cart of Cumming, GA; her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Cart Caldwell and John Caldwell of Roswell, GA; grandchildren, Jason Caldwell of Marietta, GA; Jim and Jamie Caldwell Choi of Seattle, WA; Jack and Danielle Cart Andrews of Greenville, SC; Jan Michael of San Francisco, CA.

Mary Lou will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery with her husband. A memorial will be held at Elmcroft Assisted Living Thursday, July 3rd 6:30-7:30. The family viewing will be at Northside Chapel in Roswell July 3rd. In lieu of flowers a bench with a plaque in Mary Lou's honor will be placed in the garden at Elmcroft Assisted Living for resident enjoyment.
