The remains of Edgar Wathen arrived here by train yesterday and interment was in St. Rose cemetery. Mr Wathen was the son of Dr. Wathen and was born and reared in this county. His wife who was a Miss Spalding died a few years ago. He met his death in Louisville by being run over by a ..... (I need to find and finish typing this partial obituary.)
His death certificate #7137 says he died by having his skull crushed in a railroad accident at the L & N Railroad Yards Central in Louisville, KY. Ellis Duncan, Jefferson County Coroner made the ruling that his death was accidental. Florence Wathenm of 657 South Third St. Louisville was the informant and did not know the names of Edgar's parents. T. A. Blandford was his undertaker and he was buried March 17, 1915.
