Charles D Waterworth Sr 83, of 10510 Burton Ave, Sugar Creek, died Friday at the Medical Center of Independence. Mr Waterworth was born in Illinois. He worked as a farmer and had worked for the Kuhlman Die Casting Co, before he retired. He was a member of the Queen City Church of Christ, Independence. He leaves his wife, Mrs Bryna Mae Waterworth of the home; five sons, Ernest H. Hall, Etterville, Mo, Walter R Waterworth, Independence, Charles D Waterworth Jr, Nixa, Mo, William A Waterworth, Fullerton, Calif, and Jack D Waterworth, Wellington, Mo; two daughters, Mrs Florene Variman, Independence, and Mrs Norma Hirt, Kansas City; two brothers, Bill Waterworth, Iowa, and Clyde Waterworth, Lebanon, Mo; three sisters, Mrs Blanche French, Armington, Ill, Mrs Faye Shemwell, Lebanon, Mo, and Mrs Grace Hough, Fullerton, Calif; 27 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 pm Monday at Floral Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 pm today at the chapel.
