She was a member of Rock City #2 Order of The Eastern Star. In 1924 served as Worthy Grand Matron of Tennessee Order of the Eastern Star. While serving as Worthy Grand Matron she participated in the dedication of The International Eastern Star Temple at Washington. She was also a member of the Colonial Dames, the Order of Magna Carta, the Centennial Club and was active in the Church of Christ.
