BENTON — Murlen Conrad Washam, 87, of Benton died Monday morning at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
He is survived by one niece, Paula Mimms of Benton; three nephews, Sam Washam, Eddie Washam and Freddie Washam, all of Benton; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. His parents were Eugene Washam and Mary Cooper Washam.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Starks Cemetery. The Rev. Howard Conner will officiate.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory in Benton.
