Mrs. Smith was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and was the daughter of Edwin L. and Wilsie McFee Elkins. She was married to Johnny Ray Warren, who died in 1976.
She was a graduate of Enka High School and a former employee of Kellwood Manufacturing Co. and of Penland Ambulance Service.
Burial: Browns View United Methodist Church.
