OREGON CITY, OR., Jan 7 (Special) - Mrs. Annie Warner King, daughter of early Oregon pioneers, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Rudeen, in Portland.
Annie Warner, the daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth Kasier Warner, was born in Oregon City, August 30, 1864. Her father came to Oregon City with Thomas Charman and engaged in the mercantile business for several years.
With her parents, Annie Warner, moved to Locust farm, Mount Pleasant, part of the old M. M. McCarver donation land claim in 1867. She was married to Alfred E. King who died on May 3, 1931. Following their marriage she and Mr. King moved to Ilwaco, Wash., returning to Oregon City in 1906 and settling at Mount Pleasant. The last few years they have lived at Locust farm and have maintained a summer home at Ocean Park, Wash. Mrs. King was a member for many years of St. Paul's Episcopal church.
The following children survive- Arthur King of McMinville, Douglas King of Government Camp, Mrs. Forbes Barclay Pratt of Portland, Mrs. L. D. Williams of South Bend, Wash.; Mrs. Carl Rudeen of Portland, Miss Hermina King of Oregon City, and Mrs. Harry Kramer of Seattle. She also leaves a brother, Arthur Warner of Mount Pleasant, and a sister, Mrs. Ward B. Lawton of Locust Farm.
Funeral services are to be held at 2 o'clock Saturday at Locust farm. Rev. J. A. Cleland, rector of St. Paul's, will officiate and interment will be in Mountain View cemetery.
