Cecelia Warner, age 93, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the Glendive Medical Center Extended Care in Glendive.
Interment will be held in Dawson Memorial Cemetery in Glendive. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Cecelia was born on July 14, 1918 in Dickinson, North Dakota, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Ann (Kubischta) Roller. She was raised and educated in North Dakota where she attended school through the eighth grade.
Cecelia met and later married John L. Warner in a double ring ceremony with her brother, Adolph Roller and his wife, Minnie at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dickinson on February 5, 1940. Cecelia and John were blessed with four children, three daughters and one son.
Cecelia enjoyed woodworking, crocheting, working in the flower garden, dancing and having card parties. She was an excellent cook and loved cooking for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Roller; her husband, John L. Warner in 1995; two grandchildren and ten brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her four children, Patricia Ann (Galen) McCartney of Lockwood, Montana, JoAnn (Loren) Beggs of Orlando, Florida, Roger (Geraldine) Warner, Sr. of Glendive and Jackie (Alan) Troxler of Thornton, Colorado; three brothers, Ted, Joe and Nick Roller; one sister, Pauline Haagenson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
