Gertrude A. Warner, 99, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois passed away at 1:42 A.M. on Monday, September 6, 2010 at Nature Trail Health Care Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
She was born on Wednesday, June 14, 1911 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Noel Richard and Lena (Ebertshauser) Goss. She married Raymond C. Warner on November 10, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky and he preceded her in death on January 31, 1986.
Surviving family members include her half brother: Tom Goss and wife Peggy of Fort Meyers, Florida; good friend and caregiver: Phyllis Soger and husband Gary of Texico, Illinois; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Her parents, husband and her brother: Cecil Goss preceded her in death.
ARRANGEMENTS:
GRAVESIDE SERVICES: were held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Mr. J. Howard Kraps officiated. INTERMENT: Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. VISITATION: There was no visitation held.
