David Absalom Warlick was the sone of William Williamson Warlick and Mary Adeline Hampton. He married twice, first to Lula "Fanny" Hathorn. They had five children; Hillyer Clarence Warlick, Vera B. Warlick, Robert C. Warlick, Carl Madison Warlick, and Louis or Lewis F. Warlick. after the death of his first wife he married Leila Viola Hart on 18 Oct 1893. They had three children' Victor A. Warlick, Freeman Hart "Pete" Warlick, and a daughter who married a E. O. Trawick.

ILLNESS FATAL TO FORMER GRIFFINITE
D. A. Warlick, a former resident of Griffin, died at his home in Macon Saturday night after a brief illness. Mr. Warlick was 70 years old and was one of Macon's leading citizens. He went from Friffin to that city about 17 years ago. For many years he was engaged in the photograph business here and was well-known to many Griffin citizens. Funeral services for Mr. Warlick were held at the Mulberry Methodist church in Macon Sunday afternoon.
