OBITUARY: David Keith Warehime, 69, of Westminster, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, at Hanover Hospital.
Born March 7, 1935, in Westminster, he was the son of the late Roger David and Mary A. Mitten Warehime. He was the husband of Nancy Ness Warehime, to whom he was married 47 years.
He retired as an inspector for Black & Decker. He was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Church in Frizzleburg.
He served in the Army just after the Korean War and was a former member of the Westminster Volunteer Fire Department, where he was an emergency medical technician. He enjoyed playing cards and dominos, woodworking and duckpin bowling.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters Ruth E. Weaver and special friend Chad Bupp of Hanover, Pa., and Deborah L. Stafford and husband Reggie of Hanover; son Matthew D. Warehime and wife Meagan of Westminster; sister Ann Shue of Westminster; grandchildren Jenny, Michael, Crystal, Nicholas and Jonathan; and great-grandson Zach.
He was predeceased by brothers Charles, John and Wilbur Warehime.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Interment will be in Westminster Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
