THE PASSING OF MRS PAULINE ADAMS Native of Missouri-Lived in Texas 39 years-Member Frisco Christian Church Mrs Pauline Adams, aged 69 years, 5 months and 26 days, died at her home at Foncine, 10 miles west of McKinney, at 10:50 o'clock Tuesday morning, March 21, of paralysis. Funeral services were conducted at the family residence at 10 o'clock this (Wednesday) morning by Rev. Walter P. Jennings of McKinney and Eld. R. C. Horn of Vineland. The burial took place at 2 o'clock this afternoon in Pecan Grove cemetery in McKinney by the side of her husband W.F. Adams, a McKinney businessman who preceded her to the grave 24 years ago. Mrs Pauline Ware was born in Platte County Missouri, Sept 25, 1846. Her parents moved from Platte county to Ray county, Misssouri when she was an infant. She was married to William Franklin Adams Dec 26, 1869. In 1875, she moved with her husband from Missouri to the state of Kansas where they lived two years, then moving to Texas where she had resided for nearly 39 years. She resided on the sam place where she died, the greater portion of the time since coming to Texas. Her husband, who was in the meat market and cattle business at the time of his death Sept 16 1891, was a prominent business man and citizen. She is survived by two brothers, Joe Ware, of McKinney, and John Ware, who was visiting her at the time of her death. She was the mother of nine children all living except one. The children are Mrs Quintilla Alexander, Shelby and Stephen Adams; Misses Lillie and Mildred Adams; Mrs Lucy Thomas, Mrs Nola Carter and Mrs Ella Derryberry. The deceased was a member of the Christian church from early girlhood. Her life was one of unselfish devotion to her family and domestic duties. Her sympathy embraced all mankind and as a neighbor she was universally loved and appreciated. Her passing is sincerely mourned.
