Velma Elmoyne Ward Brooker, 77, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away Wednesday, August 22, 1989 at the home of her daughter.

Born February 18, 1912, in Bloomington, Idaho to George H and Clarissa Bunderson Ward. Married Alfred Dale Brooker, June 22, 1936 in Salt Lake City. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, August 31, 1965. He preceded her in death. Attended school in the Bear Lake area and graduated from Utah State University. She taught school for twenty years in Bloomington, Idaho, Willard, Utah and later at the Redwood and Twin Peaks Elementary Schools in the Granite School District. Avid Bowler.

Survivors, daughter, Mrs. Carl H. (Pamela) Bohn, Three grandchildren, Lynnette, Scott, and Denise, all of Salt Lake City; brothers and sister LeRoy Ward and Verda Grunig, both of Brigham City, Dean Ward, Bloomington, Idaho.

Funeral service Saturday, August 26th, 10 a.m., Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 E. South Temple, where friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service. Internment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
