Death: May 13, 1870

Supposedly born in 1810, Rachel moved to Tennessee from North Carolina with her son, Eli. After moving to Tennessee she married Martin Kennedy, Sr. on February 9,1841. After Martin died in 1849, she then married John Tackett in 1849 or 1850. John died in 1856, and she married William Tompson in 1858. Records also show that she married W H Davis in Scott County TN in 1868. Mother of Loranzy Kennedy and grandmother of Elizabeth Kennedy Phillips
