Virginia L. Auer (nee Ward), 93, was the beloved wife of the late Alfred "Mike" Auer; loving mother of 3; proud grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear sister of the late Frank Ward, June Christian and John Ward. Visitation is Thursday, Dec. 15, at the Countryside Funeral Home, Bartlett. She will lie in state Friday, until time of service at 11 a.m. at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Bartlett. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, donation to the church would be appreciated.
