"Mrs. Bertha E. Bowersox, 76, widow of Francis W. Bowersox, died Friday, August 9, 1957, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Clarence H. Wolfe, Reisterstown. She had suffered from a heart condition for several years. In addition to the daughter at whose home she died, she is survived by three other children, Francis L. Bowersox, Washington; Mrs. Richard Moul, York, and Robert E. Bowersox, Polk City, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, and five brothers and sisters, Herbert Waltz, Waynesboro; Mrs. Eva Cantwell, Mt. Airy; Charles Waltz, Uniontown; Mrs. Jesse Hoffman, Vale, Ore., and John Waltz, Littlestown. Funeral services were conducted at 10 am Tuesday at the funeral home of William Berryman and Sons, Reisterstown. Interment was in Pipe Creek Cemetery."
